This year, Hamlin leads the series with four victories in 15 races and no driver has more top-five finishes (nine) than him in NCS competition.

His Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Erik Jones had a season-best third-place finish in Sunday’s event while rookie Christopher Bell earned his NCS career-best result of fourth on Saturday.

Two Supra drivers earned top-10 results in Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono Raceway, including Riley Herbst (No. 18) who finished ninth.

It was a one-two Tundra showing in the rain-postponed NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series race contested on Sunday, where Brandon Jones earned his first-career series victory followed by points leader Austin Hill.

“This is big,” said Jones. “That was the only thing I was missing, and now everything I’ve raced in, I’ve got at least one win in. Pretty big, it really is. It means so much for me. When I was 13 years old racing in short tracks, the 51 was at the race track every week in super late models and I knew one day that was what I wanted to be doing – racing with Kyle Busch and now I’m here winning races with him.”

Supra drivers Timmy Hill (eighth) and Riley Herbst (ninth) earned top-10 finishes in Sunday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Pocono. With less than two laps to go in the 91-lap race, Herbst went from 21st to ninth to earn his sixth top-10 this year.

Brandon Jones earned his first-career NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series victory in Sunday’s race at Pocono Raceway.

“We just have really fast race cars at Joe Gibbs Racing,” said Herbst, of his late race charge. “Everybody else was pretty banged and bruised or riding along and we were able to capitalize on that to get the top-10 finish.”

Ty Gibbs commanded the ARCA Menards Series field at Pocono Raceway on Friday to bring home his first national ARCA win of the season after scoring an ARCA East trimuph earlier this month. It was also Toyota’s fourth straight national ARCA win of the season, sweeping all the events so far this year.

Jesse Love used an early race restart to gain valuable track position at Utah Motorsports Campus en route to his first ARCA Menards Series West victory on Saturday. It was the series’ first race since March, which was marked by a doubleheader event where Love finished runner-up in the second race allowing him to take over the series point lead in his rookie season.

Buddy Kofoid made a late-pass with just two laps remaining to win the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League event at Charleston (Illinois) Speedway on Friday Night. Fellow Toyota driver Noah Gass finished third. The win is Kofoid’s third in the last five POWRi events. Toyota-powered drivers have now won the last nine national midget feature events.

Racing will take place over the July 4th holiday weekend with short track events in California and Indiana, road course racing in Florida, and speedway racing also in Indiana. The ARCA Mendards Series competes at Indianapolis’ Lucas Oil Raceway on Friday, July 3 at 8 p.m. EDT on MAVTV. Three races will be contested on July 4 with the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Indianapolis Motor Speedway at 3 p.m. EDT on NBC, IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship in a sprint race at Daytona International Speedway on NBCSN at 6 p.m. EDT and the ARCA Menards Series West at California’s Irwindale Speedway with tape delayed coverage to be aired July 12 at 12 a.m. EDT on NBCSN. The NASCAR Cup Series competes at the historic Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 5 at 4 p.m. EDT.
