Brandon Jones also had a record year in the Xfinity Series with his best season to date. He started the year by earning a milestone for Toyota – the 500th NASCAR victory – at the spring race at Phoenix Raceway. He continued to show strength at Kansas Speedway with a masterful green-white-checkered restart to earn his second win of the season. He added a third victory in a throwback Toyota championship scheme on Labor Day weekend at Darlington Raceway. Jones advanced to the Round of 8 in the Playoffs and earned career-bests in wins, top-fives and top-10s in a single season. He also drove to his first-career Truck Series win at Pocono Raceway in June.
The JGR Xfinity lineup was completed by rookie driver Riley Herbst, who earned two runner-up finishes in his debut year. He qualified for the Playoffs and finished 12th overall in the final point standings. 
Jones was not the only Toyota Truck Series victor as Austin Hill had another strong season. Hill scored the Regular Season title with two victories at Kansas Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Despite finishing sixth in the final standings, Hill led the series in top-five finishes, top-10s and average finish. 
Christian Eckes joined Hill in the Playoffs and came so close to his first series victory with three runner-up finishes, finishing eighth in the final standings. He was one of three Toyota rookies this season with Derek Kraus having a very consistent year led by a runner-up finish at Darlington Raceway and Raphael Lessard, who earned a victory at Talladega Superspeedway in Toyota’s 400th Truck Series event.
Closing out the full-time Toyota drivers was a new face in the Tundra camp – Stewart Friesen. Friesen finished the season strong with a top-five finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and back-to-back sixth-place finishes in the last two races this season. Overall, Toyota earned 15 victories, 74 top-five finishes and 141 top-10 results combined in both series.
